I was just listening to a CE course on anxiety. Basically, the presenter stated the more one tries to repress it, the more it builds- A better approach is to embrace and understand it in context, instead developing strategies in understanding it and using it as a strength.
I feel this is exactly what you are mentioning with being pissed.
