How many of you have drafted an amendment, or a bill to be enacted into law?
Cleverly worded language, even punctuation, some of which might be deceitful, is all over the place in legislation. Sometimes it has to be explained one way to one member, yet another way to a different one.
I've done it. I'm not proud of it, and is one reason why I got out of it. That's why legislative intent is key.
