We were on our way out of this with the percentage of vaccinated people we had until the Delta variant showed up. Twice as contagious and it spreads more on in exponential path.
All kinds of flu variants every year and the vaccine often works when the incoming strain is predicted correctly.
Actually, it's your comments that may persuade people to not get vaccinated, and some of them wind up in the hospital or worse. Nice work, fool.
What percentage of those currently in the hospital do you think are vaccinated/not vaccinated? That's a pretty simple question.
