I agree with the other, just politely back out of the deal and tell him you’ve changed your mind about selling the car as you realize you can’t find a replacement for anywhere near this price.
If you do follow through include verbiage in the bill of sale that states you have first right of refusal to purchase the car back at the sell price plus any major expenses towards mechanicals and or $30k under market value if its down the road. I’m not sure how enforceable this would be but if he’s truly a nice guy he’ll give you first shot. I’ve had several cars offered back to me, sadly in one instance where I really wanted it back I couldn’t afford it.
