Absolutely, I could not agree more. I have nothing but respect for the people at Anschutz and what they have accomplished. There really are none better for the intended purpose.

Yes they have - a perfect example of a "purpose built" tool. They have a very specialized, very narrow set of design parameters that they have met exceptionally well. Like I said, I have a great deal of respect for what they have accomplished.

I think you missed my point.
I'm not the one "comparing an F1 car to a 45 ton mining dump truck" - the producers of the video are doing that, I'm merely taking exception to their efforts to do so. The producers are presenting these rifles as extremely rugged and reliable under the most adverse conditions any rifle will ever see, presenting these Anschutz biathlon rifles as this "45 ton mining dump truck" of the rifle world. That is simply not true. They are, really, the "F1 car" of the rifle world, demanding similar care and attention to keep them in "running order". That's all I was saying.
