Battery backup and environmental monitoring
So, we finally have in the budget to add a proper UPS and temp/humidity monitoring in all the IT closets. I know APC has good systems but 2 weeks in I still can't get a quote from them for the software/monitoring side.
I would like to monitor the batteries along with the environment. I don't have to have the sensors tied into the UPS, but it is nice to have it all under one IP address as APC does.
The hardware looks like $1800 or so per IDF (we have 15) and the software is still unknown from APC.
Who else makes a good system? Eaton? Tripplite?
