Thanks, Dmitry. I'd seen the "How-to" article, but it's frankly not very helpful. Lots of flowery language and discussion of buying his wife earrings (?) and maybe some waxing about his experience fixing a clock, but not testing the clock at all. If I'm not mistaken, it also is discussing a mechanical clock assembly, not the quartz "movements" in the later G-bodies. I should have been more specific in my post, admittedly.
I'll check out the other threads. Didn't see them when I searched.
