1984 911 Targa... $?

Hey All - I am looking to sell my 1984 911 Targa and have been talking to a range of people pre-post who might be interested. Trying to get a sense of value. Lots of good and a few challenges. Curious to hear what you all think about potential price, my draft listing, photos, etc.

I am thinking of asking $32k

I spoke to capmando and read his thread about his 85 911 Cab.... lots of good info!

My draft post:

1984 911 Targa, Ruby Red Metallic with Burgundy Interior. ~110k miles.

I have owned the car for about 11 years and besides normal maintenance, I have totally refreshed the shifting and suspension.

Transmission
First project was to get the car shifting well - and it shifts great.
Transmission rebuilt by Gary Fairbanks
Stomski Shift Coupler
Seine Systems 915 Gate Shift Kit

Suspension
Next project was to make the car a sports car again. Bushings were worn, it had a lot of body roll, and was just okay. It now handles like a true sports car and is a blast to drive.

Rennline Triangulated Shock Tower Brace
Turbo Tie-rods/Bump Steer Kit
Tarett Engineering Front A-Arm U-Bracket Kit
Ball Joints
Rebel Racing Front Bushing Set
Polyurethane Rear Trailing Arm Inner Bushing Set
911 Turbo Tie Rod
WEVO RARB Console
Tarett Engineering Fully Adjustable Sway Bar, 22mm Front
Weltmeister Sway Bar, 22mm Rear
Tarett Torsion Bars - 22 Front, 28 Rear
Pelican Targa Body Brace
Sway-A-Way Spring Plates
Mitch Leland Steering Column Support Bushing

Exhaust
Got a great deal on used Cat Bypass and Exhaust. The car sounds awesome. The original exhaust will be included with the car.
Fabspeed Cat Bypass
Borla (?) 2 in 4 out exhaust

Misc
Oil Cooler Air Scoop
Rennline Tow Hook Front & Rear (need to check both are installed)
Rennline Dead Pedal, Adjustable Gas, Clutch & Brake Covers
Steel Lug Nuts
Steel Brake Lines
Rear Adjustable 3 point seat belts
Speedometer / Odometer repaired by West Hollywood

Opportunities:
There is some rust on the passenger side beneath the rocker panel (that’s why they are off in the photos). Otherwise the paint is in good shape with a small scratch on the front hood and some paint chips on the front spoiler and a few around the car.
The Targa Bar needs to be repainted
The Targa Top needs to be refreshed and I would replace the seals. Highly recommend Dan Petchel or Dave Brown. I have spoken to them both, but just never got the work done.
The idle hunts when warm. Plan was to figure this out, but I have not resolved it yet. Easy to stop by giving a little throttle.
The AC has been partially removed - and would need a refresh.
Misc issues that are normal for a 40 year old car and can easily be handled by a backyard mechanic … happy to discuss.

NOTES:I have most of the original parts in case the new owner wants to go back to stock.

Also in the pics, I have the rocker panels off as I have been deciding what to do about the passenger side rust … I have the panels and they will be included with the car.
