Yes, it makes complete sense.

I put a Bosch induction cooktop in during my large remodel. It’s super thin as well so I have drawers underneath it. I did need to get a set of pans, but that was not a big deal, was a little pricey but only because I wanted ones made in the USA.

Cast iron works great on the induction too, so I use mine very frequently.

For me, I will never go back.
