It won't be called a "booster" it'll be just like the annual flu shot. What would help though is people understanding that the vaccines works in the same manner others do. They train the body to recognize a thread and build antibodies to neutralize that threat. The more people vaccinated against the current strains, the less chance of the virus mutating to evade the vaccine. Now I know this is just crazy talk to people that want to believe conspiracies... but that's how vaccination works. You get ahead of the curve by slowing the mutation. You slow the mutation by having more people with antibodies able to neutralize the virus.
