Let me walk you through this, again. I was responding to questions from cabmando. The discussion of vaccine pressure driving mutations is in the video which he has not watched. I reminded him yet again to watch it. He said he would, we’ll see.
He had other questions about why we are not seeing variants from other countries, yada yada yada and all the rest. The link I referenced explained, in detail, that we are experiencing exactly that. It’s the most useful link I found to answer that particular question and it’s a good primer for anybody that wants to know the difference between mutation, variant, strain and all of the other words that are getting thrown around in the media.
Frankly, I don’t understand his questions, in that there is widespread media coverage about all of these new variants, strains, mutations, whatever. How he missed that is a mystery. Maybe he gets all his news through Tinder.
