I believe it's Theramdore that offers you to pick what burner goes where. I would rather have 8 burners than 6 and a grill or 6 and a griddle. I would want two of the hottest in line so you can have a large iron griddle to have equal heat. I use a 15000 and 20000 and try to keep the heat equal. I use a pyrometer to check. And yes I have had all burners, griddle and both ovens going on several holidays. The heat in the kitchen can get to you. We have a whole house fan and the hood it's been 50° outside and I will have the whole house fan sucking out the heat in the kitchen with a window open.
