Today is back to the garage. Not big projects, just straighten up the remaining disorder of the workbench, and get the 911 in the work bay for a minor detail and load it up with the supplies for tomorrow's car show. There are a few dead bugs, the and a few spots of dirt. GASP.
Then I want to put together a bag of cleaning supplies and the ice chest and sun screen and the other stuff needed to survive several hours in the summer sun. Hopefully we will have shade for our group.
They will have 200 cars or so from my 911 to every type of car made that someone loves. It is cool to just walk around and talk to owners about their cars. I don't care so much for brand new cars that just show a large wallet, I prefer the older cars that the owner restored or owned for many years, and has a real background story with the car. One large contingent is the Guthrie Road Kings. Lots of cool cars from the 1940 to 1980s.
