My wife and I are still around, but only due to the fact that we were both wearing full leathers and full faced helmets - on a 90+ degree day. I cannot imagine how "that day" would have turned out had we been wearing the typical Harley riders' "uniform" - half shell helmet (we have a helmet law, otherwise most wouldn't even wear that), white tee shirt, leather vest, and blue jeans. My God... they would have cleaned us up off the road with a fire hose and a squeegee... As it was, we only suffered some (rather severe) bruising and a couple of broken and sprained wrists.
Oncoming F250 made that classic left turn in front of us. No turn signal, didn't slow down, no warning. We don't get to pick our day... ATGATT...
