Reminds me of why church services are so long. I've long suspected it was so they felt you were getting your money's worth. In some cases it's probably the same in the medical profession.
I came down with Bronchitis earlier this year and was able to just have a phone conversation with my APRN and she phoned in an Rx for me with 3 different meds. She even granted my request for a Z-pack, which has worked for me on the previous two Bronchitis events.
This was when our state had enacted strict cv19 regulations and they weren't bringing anyone inside to their office if they could avoid it. For me it merely demonstrated in some situations an in-person visit wasn't necessary.
They have a portal which I use to communicate input back to the office - it's like email essentially.
