I think the helmet/ no helmet thing is starting to change a bit. Even seeing more and more 1%ers around here wearing full face.
When I went down on my GSXR back in the late 80s, if I did'nt have a full face on, I definitely would have suffered some serious face damage. The whole chin piece and forehead area was ground through to the foam, shield ripped off...
Even so, I'm still guilty of wearing a half shell or brain bucket every once in awhile.
