So, I had the forks for the XT600 up at a bike shop to have the seals replaced since I don't have the proper tools. Well, after 2 months ha hadn't touched them. Gave excuses how he had all this other stuff, some of which came in after my project. He at least ordered the parts and I bought them from him and doing the forks myself was my weekend. Had to buy an M18 bolt and grind a hex head on the threaded side to get the damper tube out. At least it is done.
Now I get to clean the carb on a Rebel that has sat for years in the hot CA environment. Has a bad tube and tire on the front as well. Those should be here today. I also have a set of rear brakes on the wife's XT250 to do, bot those are easy.
I need more projects. We have had deck material at the house since June and haven't had time to do that. Will probably hire that out at this point.
