Lewis is his own person. I respect the heck out of that.
If you don't understand him, it is likely he doesn't give it much thought.
Someone mentioned two lives saved by halos since they were instituted. I think the number is much higher. Grogean's crash last year was probably on their mind. I recall a clip F1 had on their site for a while of someone's car being launched over the cockpit of (Alonso"s?) car at Spa. Then there was Lance's roll over last year. It was nice being able to see more of the drivers before the cockpit sides got higher. It is nicer seeing the guys walk away.
