With seizure comes high body temp which fries the brain. The damage had already been done. I/we (wife and I) held her, talked to her, kept her from injury to herself. Her spirit had already left her body but her body wouldn’t give up. We had a vet come here to give her dignity of passing in her own bed with us holding her.

It's the hardest thing we'll ever have to do, Dan.
But it's also the ultimate representation of love and respect for your companion.
It hurts just reading your words --- and I know I speak for everyone here.
The important thing is she's out of pain now.....and no doubt she's romping around with little Billabong now - so take some measure from that....
