I'm trying to install a dash cam on my 2021 R1250RS but I am having trouble finding a "switched" power source that is compatible with CanBus. I thought I could tap into the accessory socket that is near the seat but when I connected, nothing happened.

I'm going to try again by hooking up to a spare 12v battery just to make sure the unit is working correctly. Next, I purchased a Power Distribution Module (PDM60) which I will use to provide the final power but it still needs a "switched" power source.

Also, any good ideas for ground. It seems like everything under the seat is plastic or powder coated with plastic shielding. Uggg...I wish this could be a little simpler.

Anyone have any photos of their setup? I'm not having much luck on the internet.
