The -153 WUR is an evolution from the early 911 style WUR's used by the first 930 turbo cars. The early WURs such as the -022 do not enrich under boost, they enrich in the absence of vacuum. For a bone stock engine this is fine, but if the engine is modified the -153 will add more fuel. Having that WUR modified to be adjustable will allow you to replicate the 3.0L turbo engine fuel specs for cold and warm operation.
As for installation, the side port is the vac/boost port. Simply connect that to a manifold vacuum source. The top port is atmosphere, you can leave it open or connect the the air cleaner.
