pretty good for beginners but we all have our own twists.

I dont get the engine warm , i get it hot...

i want to make sure that the stat is completely open and i get all the oil out of the lines. I find the best way to do this is to have all your pans set up go warm the car up and drive the last 1/2 km or so back to the garage in a lower gear with the revs higher, this really spikes the temp and makes sure stat stays open ,

Pull in the garage slide pans under and crack the two drains.

When refilling i can get just about all 12 litres back in this way ...

I also remove fuel pump relay and crank until i see oil pressure start to build on the gauge after filling . Then put the relay back in and fire her up.

Not sure of this makes any difference but its just my way.
