The best weather in North America is in San Diego, BUT it's so expensive.
Just below the border in Baja California the weather is even better and it costs practically nothing to live.
My 4500 sq ft house on a ocean bluff top is in a gated & guarded community. I have two islands in my backyard. Taxes are $200 per year.
Its only a California thing though that the rest of the country is terrified of, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.
