Right where I am. It's a great location with tons of variety and access to :
- less than an hour drive to NYC
- The Catskills, Hudson Valley and the Adirondacks
- great beaches within a 2 hour drive
- Vermont skiing
- three major airports
- tons of ethnic restaurants
- etc etc
The other option is to become insanely rich and buy pied-a-terres all over the world.
