The proper material and thickness would be a concern. A traditional old school standing seam roof would have been galvanized steel in 22 gauge. There the ones you see on old barns that are 100 years old.
Many metal roofs today are very thin 29 gauge metal. Often they are painted or powdercoated aluminum.
The thicker the gauge the longer the life and more durable to weather conditions like hail or even falling objetcs like tree branches or a base ball.
