I'm sure, the USAF did already change a lot of airshow policies to stop such things, after a couple of really nasty crashes from over confident pilots. Last one as recent as 2010

Looks like the Australian was doing 60 degree banks, which was one of the factors leading up to the 2010 C17 crash in Alaska.
