When we were in college in the early 90s, my roommate was at the store shopping and came home really excited. He bought a case (24) of Schafer for $5.24. It had a $5 mail-in rebate. I don't think the case was worth the 24¢ except maybe for the recycling of the Al. We didn't even drink it. It was that bad.
