I wouldn’t have tires on the front axle that didn’t match the tires on the rear axle. So if you’re buying them just for the rear axle, then no.
As for whether I would buy them at all, that depends on how you drive the car. I personally always used tires from the higher end of they offerings in the market, but that’s just me.
