I haven't run the RS3s, but we've had Coopers on the last two daily drivers for the wife. The current one has CS5s, they have lots of grip for a street tire, but the trade off is they're wearing quick. She has less than 30,000 on them and I think we're going to replace them before winter. The fronts have less than 4/32 left. I probably should have rotated them more. The previous car had CS3s, had it 5 or 6 years, still had 7/32 when we sold it.
I had some low profile Continental DWS tires on the old Jetta, kept getting sidewall bulges. Probably due to the terrible roads around here. I replaced two or three of them in the time I had it (4 years).
