I also tried to arrange for him to do a combination for me. At first he, Dwayne, would return my emails and then stopped. I called him to discuss things but he just would not return my email or calls. The guy seems like a stright shooter, disabled vet he says, but I wonder if he is not overwhelmed.
The prices are very low. In order to turn a profit, labor and parts must be a great deal ( Jobber rates). He says he as been building engines for 14 years. Unfortunately, I know of no one who has DIRECT knowledge of his work.

PS. Mikey, isn't he just up the coast from you in the LA area?
It's cold/snow winter here, but I bet it would be a nice drive in So. Cal.
