Hi, does anyone have any knowledge about the transaxle on a 1971 saab sonett 3??
mine quit on me back in 1981. It popped out of gear while driving and would not move in any gear. I pulled the motor(v-4)and trans. back then and every thing has been in my garage for 40 years! I want to put her back together and drive her again. I don't know how to diagnose that trans as far as fix or get another trans. if i can even find one? seems like there was a problem with the lever that engaged/disengaged the "freewheeling"feature on the transaxle?? Any input/advise/thoughts/opinions is all appreciated. I just joined the forum 20 mins. ago, my 1st post. If i'm FN up and doing this wrong please correct me/shread me whatever. I want to do this the right way,
