One of my neighbors, from Cali, hunts my farm exclusively. He and Jack get along great and I really like his ethos where hunting is concerned.

He took me to pick up my LC yesterday and said he did a deer stand event two days ago...he just likes to watch.

Easy, Buckaroo's.

His count: Seven deer, does and fawns, raccoons like you read about, a family of foxes, raining squirrels, and a skunk.

The only thing that kills a skunk around here is a minivan.
Years ago when we lived in the burbs, our mini dachshund cornered a rabbit in our porch. When I opened the door and yelled, everyone stopped what they were doing (German shepherd, dachshund and rabbit). The dachshund turned around to face me and had a small tuft of rabbit fur between his teeth at the end of his snoot. Looked like a little fur mustache.

I think you get more stuff than us, but I've seen a coyote, at least 4 different deer, opossum, skunk, armadillo, and raccoon (in addition to birds, snakes, squirrels and bugs).

I've thought about having a motion sensor light, but dismissed it. I actually leave the house completely dark at night. I'm pretty sure that I'll eventually add motion activated porch lights.
