With the grid penalties, quali was sort of a predetermined outcome. So that gave me a minute to ponder...

Why does a driver that will start last bc of penalty get to run in quali? Sainz got out of Q1 which means some other driver didn't advance but will move up tomorrow.

Ditto for Hammy. I can see him allowed to run in all sessions but w a 10 place penalty why not move up dude in 11th and allow him to do Q3. Of course there was a slight possibility that hammy only qualified in 10th which would make him 20th but that's unlikely.

Anyway, Q3 was so anticlimactic that I came up with that.
