I do like the idea. I'm thinking i could get another bucket and use that as a separation station. I'm not sure of how much crud I'll be pulling out of the tank yet.
Another interesting aspect of gasoline is the polarity with water. Water can still be suspended in the fuel until it separates due to density. Prolly doesn't mean much at this point in time, and will run fine either way. Might just do a solvent layer separation for my needs. But that mr funnel could be used for all my small engine stuff that i have. I waste a lot of gas evaporating it instead of reusing it in.
