I hope Randy has found his peace. He seemed very troubled. Most of us join, and remain active on forums such as this, to meet people, share information, maybe debate some of our politics and beliefs, but mostly to make friends. A very few people seem to delight in antagonizing others, for whatever reasons they may have. No interest in even trying to make any friends, with virtually every post being some kind of a snide, snarky attack on someone. I'll never understand why someone would participate in a community like this if that is all they want out of it. Doing everything imaginable to alienate others, lose their respect, insult them, and so forth. Unfortunately, Randy seemed to delight in acting that way. I'll never understand that. Hanging out in a relatively tightly knit community just to insult, berate, and belittle many of its members. Most of its members, actually. I just don't get it.
Does anyone know if he had a family? He never mentioned a wife, children, or anything at all about anything personal like that. Even the obituary doesn't mention anything. It would be nice to be able to send flowers, or a card, or some form of condolences.
Well, as the Irish would say, "his troubles are over". May he rest in peace.

Well said Jeff,
I have known and know people in real life like that. The people I know are severely insecure for one reason or another. Some of these people are very successful but were traumatized as children and still carry the insecurity. I believe it is their way of compensatin.
Whatever has become of him may he find peace and happiness.
