I'd suggest you keep exploring that option. As other have posted, black walnut is a very desireable wood for many things. Maybe a seller of black walnut lumber could give you leads?

You also might check local lawn services...since it's only a once per year problem, might not cost too much to hire the job done.
Father time has me taking out that option more often lately. I turn 78 next month, God willing.
