I assume not much has changed. Back in the day, you could get a sliding rear window from a retail auto parts store for $100, and my understanding was that the installation was supposed to be really simple. I'm sure the prices have changed as that was 25-30 years ago.

My guess is that pretty much any truck can be had with that if you check that box which probably adds a lot more to the bottom line than the cost of an aftermarket window.
