The AC console under the dash doesn't appear to be original, either. I'd just remove it, since the system will need to be completely overhauled anyway and there's no compressor or condensor (at least). Looks like the PO made some minor mods to upgrade/modernize the car's look, probably back in the mid-1970s.
Of course, the biggest determinant of price for these long hoods is rust, or lack of it.
