What this is, is high-profile; like Kobe, Martha and Michael himself. Of course the FCC is going to jump in. Of course the NFL is going to say "No more MTV-produced halftime shows," and bask in the non-football-related limelight while saying this. Everyone wants attention.

It's all really quite cheesey: a has-been like Janet Jackson has to have a soon-to-be-has-been like Timberlake rip her top off oh-so-neatly, to garner attention.
