Actually, a cue ball break speed thing...that's why the cell phones on the table. There's an app for measuring cue ball speed during a break. You'll seldom see a pro do this in tournament play. Fast isn't accurate, only spectacular to watch. A cut break is mostly used these days, where the wing ball goes in a corner pocket with boring regularity....and often the one will go into the side.
