Thanks for all the responses! Gosh it still seems like buying the old school analog pioneer mint or refurbished amplifiers and speakers are the way to go unless you can be highly technical in your setup with mixing of newer equipment…

I had thought of possibly a mid 90s technique amp + a pair of pioneer CS 109s…

I’m open to all options or if you have a particular build that didn’t cost 10s of thousands of dollars that you would like to share please do!
