When I was younger we lived in town. My mom made doughnuts to hand out on Halloween. She'd start at 7 a.m and we'd powder and bag before trick or treat started. We'd be out of doughnuts within an hour. My mom and my grandma Gordon were both known as "the doughnut lady". Good memories.
When I worked at a local autobody shop, a guy who worked there would give a me Coors quart for a doughnut on Halloween. Again, good memories.
The most fun was busting the neighbors who had already come through once and were trying to get another doughnut.
