Usually, it's play by ear.
The kids were pretty good, usually helping themselves to one piece each. Early in the evening, I was encouraging more, but we had to reel back because there were hoards of kids coming in.
The best of the evening was a young kid dressed as the American flag. He was 3-4 years old. He looked up at our house and about cried. My wife's American flag was wrapped up over itself due to a windstorm earlier in the day. It really upset him. I ran over and unfurled it. Very touching. You'd think fixing it would have made him happy. OH NO!!! We are on his s$%^ list!
