I too used a bicycle shifter cable, and my sunroof drains are clear. I also found that my front driver and passenger footwell carpet is wet - but not more wet by the kick panels where water from the front sunroof drains would tend to manifest if that were the issue. Hmm. Investigation proceeds while I dry out those areas with fans, and I guess I shouldn’t hose it down again until I figure this out.
