Send em off to someone who knows what they are doing..usually not the local cobbler. Thats if you fivure they are worth the cost.

I dont know what you expect them to be like when rejunivated. Patina/distressing has been quite fashionable. They show character. It really is a must to keep shoe trees in your shoes it extends life. Trees over time will minimize flex creasing.
