Ahhh, ummm, we entered that other war
on the day when the Japanese dropped bombs on us.
No one in the U.S. seemed overly concerned w/ the plight of the French or the Jews or the Polish prior to that. In fact, the prevailing attitude at the time was, "let's not get involved".
I know that the truth doesn't line up real well with the legend of the super-nad people who volunteered to rescue the world,

Am I glad that our side won WW2?? Yes, of course. Did the U.S. fight courageously? Yes, very much so, (as did many others), but re-writing history in order to sound clever is lame and all too common. It dishonors millions of dead people.
