Did some work on a cnc lathe at a shop today and they let me blast some of the suspension components and they offered to powder coat them as well! They should be done by Monday.

I am in a pickle though…I’m replacing all rubber on the front end and can’t decide on replacing the strut inserts. My current adjustable Koni 8641 1039 struts “feel” fine but the receivers had about 4 ounces of oil in each….(…I’ve been reading on what they can be replaced with and it seems like koni sports with the locating stud on the bottom is the only choice. I thought the oil could be from someone before me replacing leaking struts and not removing the oil but if I’m replacing everything and getting it aligned then I might as well toss 400 bones at a new set.

Can anyone touch on this?
