Illustrates well why carrying a handgun for defense in bear country is only slightly better than nothing...(The eaten guy was able to place 4 .38 slugs in the bear...this REALLY pissed the bear off!) It also illustrates why the hunting guide caliber of choice in Alaska is the .338 Win. Mag. If one wanders in bear country? It is wise to carry a BIG club...
