Honestly, I don't carry a pillion on this machine so I don't know. I have other bikes to ride as well and this one will be undergoing yet another self designated Rube Goldberg modification so if you really wish to find out (and yours is an early narrow seat post bike) I'd be happy to loan you the seat to try for a short while if you cover shipping costs to and fro.
