Mine are Widex as well...similar, but an earlier version (beyond). Like yours, they are very small and hard to see. I have had them for several years and am thinking about upgrading eventually (but they are pricey and these still work). If set up by your audiologist properly, they make one's hearing pretty darn close to normal (in some cases, better)...but most of us have not heard "normal" or driving and enjoy the relative silence. I often don't put them in right away in the morning for the same reason.
Mine have a sort of AI where they automatically adjust based on the situation (for example, zooms in on the speaker in a meeting while fading other conversations slightly). There are about a half dozen modes t will automatically switch to as well as some specific ones you can change to yourself based on what you are listening to (phone, music, etc.).. They are great for listening to music or receiving phone calls from my IPhone. No one else can hear and the sound is great. When I listen to music via bluetooth from my phone, I can dial out/turn off the tiny microphones that pick up outside sound with the phone app (if I choose) which improves listening even more.
The price for batteries would be pretty prohibitive if I did not get them on ebay in large volume (they are pretty cheap then).
